Sunday's PreviewThe Sky is Falling Unafraid Living with Courage and Hope in Uncertain Times We live in uncertain times unable to predict what the future will bring. This leads to anxiety and fear which if we remain in a perpetual state, we become captive to it. Apocalypse is always an exciting topic to explore, and we become obsessed with the end. But with God there are no endings. God is the God of new beginnings. Join us for Week 4 of learning what it means to live Unafraid living in God’s kingdom and exploring the notion that we don’t need to panic when we experience the fear of the end. All signs may point to death and destruction, but God makes a promise to restore this good creation. |
In-person Regathering and Forming Spiritual Habits
Click HERE for video message. We began in-person worship in October as we entered Phase 2 of our regathering plan. It’s a great time to reflect on your own spiritual practices. Habits are the natural rhythms of life that create patterns for us. There are good habits and bad habits. The pandemic has disrupted our normal rhythms and create new habits. Do you still have spiritual habits that help draw you close to God and God's mission for the world? What might that look like? Join Pastor Jake for some reflections and a preview for Phase 3 of our regathering plan and what to expect. Here's last week's WALKTHROUGH VIDEO of what to expect on Sunday morning. What to expect on Sunday morning: Registration Sunday Worship Options: 8am Parking Lot Worship (in-person communion) 10:30am Livestream Worship (virtual communion) Bring your own bread and wine/grape juice to the livestream worship as we celebrate weekly communion together in spirit. 10:30am In-person Worship (in-person communion) |

The Stephen MinistersAre here to listen and help We urge you, brothers and sisters ,.. encourage the disheartened
( 1 Thessalonians 5:14).
Paul was writing to the believers in Macedonia. Encouraging the disheartened, to help the weak and be patient with everyone. These are very powerful words that can apply today. We continue to be safe with isolation, and limited contact. This can result in frustration for many of us. Just remember that the Church is here, as well as the Stephen Ministers. Contact Pastor Jake or one of our Referral Coordinators Bill Purcell or Cathy O'shea, at 210-846-3315.
