Sunday's PreviewWho is this Jesus?
When you think of Jesus, what sorts of images come to your mind? What do you think he looked like? How did his voice sound? What made him laugh, or cry? What was his personality like? We all have images in our mind when we think of Jesus. Its natural for us to do this. These images are shaped throughout our lives by things we see, hear, and learn about Jesus. The disciples had spent three years living and travelling with Jesus. They knew the answers to all of these questions. Yet, even after spending all this time with him and working alongside him to bring good news of God’s kingdom to people, Jesus continued to reveal that there was more to his identity and mission than they could have ever imagined. Are we ready to be surprised by Jesus as well? |

Weekly COVID-19 Update
We continue in Phase 1 of our Regathering Guidelines. Hospitalization percentage in our area moved below 15% this week. We are tracking members that we are aware of that have tested positive to date: · 1 death If you have tested positive or know of anyone within our congregation that has tested positive, please notify the church promptly. We will be doing contract tracing and let others know of who might be at risk. Additionally, we would like to support our church family with care. In this map you will see the highlighted area, Area P. This is an exceptionally large area which includes San Antonio. The current statistics as of February 8, 2021: Hospitalizations: 14.99%. We had a decrease of 4.05% in a week's time. Numbers are steadily decreasing. The Peace Regathering Team will be monitoring the daily COVID statistics and will continue to advise the church council on changes that impact our in-person worship services and church community. Our Peace Regathering Guidelines are modeled after the State of Texas opening guidelines. Instead of using active cases, which have proven to be difficult to gauge, we are monitoring the percentage of hospitalizations. |
