Jeannie has been the organist and choir accompanist since 2003 which is when she retired from 35 years of teaching. Before retiring, she played for the children’s choir at St. Paul and subbed for organists at St Paul, Friedens, and here at Peace as well as playing for Sunday School openings and Bible School. After graduating from Yorktown High School (which is where she played clarinet in the band) she attended Victoria College and graduated from Southwest Texas State in 1967. She also attended Winthrop College in South Carolina and the University of Mexico in Mexico City. She loves to dance and enjoys line dancing, playing dominoes, reading mystery novels, watching superhero movies, and tacking quilts for the Peace Quilters. She enjoys all types of music from German polkas, 40’s swing, 50’s rock and roll to Tejano. She and Richard have three grown children, Elizabeth, Kathryn, and Michael and three kitty cats Buddy Buddles, Timmy, and Skootie Boo.
