****STEWARDSHIP SNIPPET****
" For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit."
1 Corinthians 12:13
Paul presents us with God’s vision for the people of God. As God’s church, how can we work toward one unified body, all people welcome and affirmed, with the Holy Spirit activating our faith and equipping us to be better stewards of all God’s gifts?

Seekers and Sponges has started a study around a five part video series by Marcus Borg titled "Embracing An Adult Faith: What it Means to Be Christian". The intent is to help those seeking a richer understanding of issues in contemporary Christian practice and theology. Who was Jesus? Who is God/ What is salvation? How do we practice our faith? How do we live in community? In our class, everyone in our group becomes a teacher for one another, sharing experiences and perspectives that facilitate a respectful, enlightening approach to adult learning. Please join us in the multimedia classroom at the end of the hallway. You will find the discussion engaging, insightful, and challenging, and it will expand how you look at your faith! Exploring the Bible TogetherZoom Bible Study every Tuesday from 6:30pm -7:30pm In our “Exploring the Bible Together” study, we meet by Zoom as a small group for about 45 minutes each week. Our study covers a wide range of topics, examining more closely the history, content, context, development, message, and interpretation of the Bible. As we do this, we grow in our understanding of the relevance and application of the Bible for our lives today. We have begun a new study series on the Gospel of Matthew. This church year the majority of our gospel readings will come from Matthew. It is a beautiful writing which shares the story of Jesus in a pwerful way. Anyone is welcome to join us - no experience with Bible study (or even the Bible) is necessary! Click here to join: Tuesday Zoom Bible Study |

Three Expressions of the Church
We are part of one church body organized in three expressions — congregations, synods, and the churchwide organization. Each expression has its particular functions but all three together share a common mission of doing God’s work in the world and proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ. Together, they ensure a solid foundation of leadership, active involvement in communities, opportunities for dialogue and diverse perspectives, creative partnerships, and support for members and ministries of the ELCA.
