Dinner Church: Lenten Wednesdays
February 25 • March 4 • March 11 • March 18 • March 25 6pm—7:15pm Meals, Community, Discipleship, Worship This Lent, our Dinner Church gatherings will follow the theme Hungry for Jesus. Lent reminds us that we are people who hunger—not only for food, but for meaning, forgiveness, healing, and hope. Rather than ignoring that hunger or trying to fill it ourselves, this season invites us to bring it honestly to Jesus, the Bread of Life. We celebrate as the earliest Christians did around a table sharing our lives around the table and story of Jesus. The meal is incorporated within the worship. Come join a new Lenten practice of community and worship time. Deepen your relationship with Jesus and his community. And be fed by the nourishment of the Spirit at work.

Mission Spotlight March 2026Family Promise of Greater New Braunfels March Mission Spotlight shines on Family Promise of Greater New Braunfels. FPGNB has been helping unhoused families since July of 2013 and Peace has been a part of this mission. As a member church, we provide meals to families in the program for a full week several times a year. Family Promise approaches homelessness by providing prevention services before families reach crisis. This could be help with utilities, rent or childcare assistance among other short term, yet pressing needs. Shelter and case management are available when a family becomes homeless. Families arrive in crisis; Family Promise helps them rebuild their lives with new skills and ongoing support. This is the stage that member churches provide an evening meal. After securing affordable housing, stabilization programs are available to ensure they remain independent. Family Promise coordinates with available resources in the community including state and federal programs to provide families with necessary services. Sunday, March 22nd, a dedicated offering will be collected to benefit FPGNB. For more information on volunteering, contact Karen Laughlin. Please include Family Promise and their clients in your prayers.
