Sunday’s Preview – Words of Life: The 10 CommandmentsRead Exodus 20:1-17 and Matthew 5:21-24 The 6th Commandment: Do not kill. Seems like a pretty basic tenet for anyone to embrace. Maybe you feel like you’re doing pretty good with this particular commandment. And yet as we look around our society: our communities, neighborhoods, schools, civic life, social media,… we soon discover there is fury and rage that pervades our lives. Jesus speaks to the root of this command, teaching that killing is a heart issue. When you have anger in your heart, it leads to actions that destroy life. Join us on Sunday as we explore what it means to promote life as God does. For more infomation visit: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%205%3A21-24&version=NIV
