Sunday’s Preview – Words of Life: The 10 CommandmentsRead Exodus 20:1-17 and Matthew 5:27-31 The 7th Commandment: You shall not commit adultery Oftentimes we limit this commandment to making sure no one cheats on their spouse. But Jesus broadens the definition, explaining that what’s in our heart is the root problem. When we objectify others for our own desires, we do not treat them as the subject of our love. Join us on Sunday in worship as we explore God’s desire for faithful relationships. For more infomation visit: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%205%3A27-31&version=NIV

Mission Spotlight August 2025
Family Life Center has served Guadalupe and Comal counties since 2008. The vision of Family Life Center is to prevent evictions and the displacement of families by providing essential rental and utility assistance. Additionally, they offer supportive rehousing efforts, food support, and comprehensive wraparound services to ensure families become and/or remain stable and secure in their homes.
They work together with various agencies, churches, and organizations to address the needs of under-resourced individuals and families. By combining resources, they are able to serve our community with united action and cooperative services.
Sunday, August 24, Family Life Center will be our Mission Spotlight. A dedicated offering will be collected.
Peace
