Sunday’s Preview – Words of Life: The 10 CommandmentsRead Exodus 20:1-17 and Isaiah 10:1-2 The 8th Commandment: Do not steal Taking what is not ours seems pretty straightforward. That is, until we begin to examine the rules that often favor one group over another. Or when we bend the rules and use loopholes to circumvent this command. Or even more so when we fail to live into the generous character of God and live clinging on to what we have. Join us on Sunday in worship as we explore God’s desire for us to be generous. Read Exodus 20:1-17 and Isaiah 10:1-2

Mission Spotlight August 2025
Family Life Center has served Guadalupe and Comal counties since 2008. The vision of Family Life Center is to prevent evictions and the displacement of families by providing essential rental and utility assistance. Additionally, they offer supportive rehousing efforts, food support, and comprehensive wraparound services to ensure families become and/or remain stable and secure in their homes.
They work together with various agencies, churches, and organizations to address the needs of under-resourced individuals and families. By combining resources, they are able to serve our community with united action and cooperative services.
Sunday, August 24, Family Life Center will be our Mission Spotlight. A dedicated offering will be collected.
Peace
