Sunday’s Preview – The God Who Calls, The God Who Is With Us

Sunday’s Preview – The God Who Calls, The God Who Is With Us

Read Exodus 2:23-25; 3:10-15; 4:10-17

What would you do if God showed up in your everyday life—like a burning bush that refused to be ignored? In Exodus 3, God hears the cries of the people and calls Moses, despite all his excuses, to be part of God’s liberating work.

Join us this Sunday as we explore how God still calls us today, inviting us to hear the cries around us and trust God’s promise: “I will be with you.”

Mission Spotlight September 2025

Mission Spotlight September 2025

In May 2022, Becky Voges introduced our faith community and our church neighborhood to the Little Pantry.

The concept began in Arkansas in 2016 by a woman who wanted to love as Jesus loves and give her neighbors and travelers basic necessities.

Our Little Pantry contains non-perishable foods, juice boxes, bandaids and other personal hygiene items, as well as a cooler stocked with bottled water, absolutely essential for Central Texas.

A small box beneath the pantry offers visitors an opportunity to provide prayer requests as they continue on their journey.

Grocery donations are needed….non-perishable food items in small cans with ring tabs, small juice boxes, bottled water and personal hygiene items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, bandaids….Please place your donations in the SOS Food grocery cart in the Narthex.
Volunteers are needed to stock the Little Pantry. Contact Becky Voges for additional information or questions.

Peace Little Pantry is a tangible way to show those that are weary, hungry or thirsty that Peace Lutheran is here for you. Thanks Becky for this important mission.

A dedicated offering will be collected on Sunday, September 28 for the Little Pantry.

Peace,
Karen Laughlin
Service Chair
